Ivan Latanision, Allvue’s Chief Product Officer and Jared Kreutzer, Allvue`s Investor Relations Product Manager, sat down with Jennifer Banzaca at Private Funds CFO to comment on the launch of Allvue’s Fundraising Software which helps to simplify the challenging fundraising process for private equity and private credit firms. Allvue`s new fundraising platform offers a customizable fundraising portal where prospective investors can access all investment details in one place, aimed to their needs.

Ivan Latanision noted that the fundraising environment has been tough for the past 18 months, with rising competition for capital and complex regulatory requirements adding to the difficulty. “Many fund managers are seeing rising competition for capital as one of their main challenges,” he says. “Coupled with the complexities of regulatory compliance and the market right now, it’s really creating pain points for firms that are trying to stand out and get these investments.” Besides, Latanision highlighted that fundraising is often hindered by inefficiencies and fragmented processes, which led Allvue to develop its new tool.

Emphasizing the key benefits of a new tool, Jared Kreutzer explained that it streamlines the fundraising life cycle and enhances operational efficiency by integrating all aspects of the fundraising lifecycle into a single platform. This provides an improved experience for firms of all sizes and their prospective LPs. “We’re trying to provide better efficiency, better security and, ultimately, help GPs make better informed decisions using the data that’s captured along the workflow through this platform,” Kreutzer said. “Because of all of parties involved that need to step in at different points and assign things out during the fundraising process, we’ve created a system where you can create a template and digitize each stage that the opportunity is in,” he said. “With the pipeline, GPs don’t need to spend all their time trying to organize and follow up on different things. They can know at any one point during a fundraise what has been done and what the next steps are.”
