Allvue’s Global Head of Fund Administration James DiCostanzo, and Director of Competitive Intelligence Joe Branca, recently discussed different approaches to private markets operations and fund administration in Europe and the US with The Drawdown.

“Where the two markets are definitely coming together is in LP demand for data visibility, transparency into their investments, performance and everything in between,” argues James DiCostanzo. He says private credit is exploding in both the US and Europe. “As GPs are turning to the credit market, admins in turn are quickly looking to ramp up in that space, both in terms of people and technology,” DiCostanzo adds.

“You are seeing the big fund administrators building practices to enable their private market clients to deliver against the demand for evergreen funds,” Joe Branca provides his perspective on this matter: “You also see a lot of infrastructure being designed to enable those activities, such as investor onboarding.”
