Hi, I’m Barb Rockenbach, and I wanted to take a few minutes to show you how Allvue can help streamline your investor communications. In this video, we’ll show you how you can seamlessly generate investor notices such as a capital call in an end-to-end process that takes as little as 10 minutes.
Let’s get started!
To start, a capital call is booked to the general ledger and broken out to the level of granularity desired. For example, the amount for investments, management fees, and expenses. The call is then automatically allocated to the underlying investors based on predetermined allocation rules, such as pro-rata by commitment.
After allocating in accounting, Allvue provides a single workflow for users to pull allocations and fund balances from fund accounting, apply investor contact preferences based on the document type, and then use a mail merge template to edit, review, and finalize LP notices. Finalized notices can even include an ILPA appendix for institutional investors. When notices are ready to be delivered, you can send the document as an email attachment or automatically upload the document to the investor portal and email investors a secure link to access the notice.
